Angela Funk is the author of the action-adventure fantasy trilogy, Forsaken Destiny, and the sci-fi romantic comedy duology, the World Beyond Duology.

Her love of reading and writing came at a young age, and she was often found with her nose in a book. Before publishing her debut novel, The Heroic Facade, she graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation. She currently resides in Iowa with her cat, Rory, and her fiancé, Caleb.

When she is not daydreaming of fantastical worlds, she enjoys watching anime and reality TV, reading, taking photos via a Polaroid, and various crafting hobbies, such as embroidery and keychain making. Her cat-to-human ratio of pictures is also questionably large. She currently lives with her cat, Rory, and her fiancé, Caleb.
